Senior Recovery Manager

A leading Banking institution is seeking to recruit a number of Senior Managers into its Credit Management and lending unit to help facilitate their debt recovery and restructuring. This business area is critical to the stability of the bank and will play a key role in the banks future growth.

The Role:

• Ensure credit processes are adhered to in line with Bank policy
• Full responsibility for the credit management of the loan book – cases 10-50 million.
• Due diligence on complex cases to develop best options available to maximise recovery
• Leading the development and execution of bespoke recovery and de-risking strategies
• Maintain relationships with external advisers – Accountants, Solicitors, Liquidators
• Identify early risk and proactively drive their progression to action

The Candidate:

• 8-10 years experience credit/lending role
• Debt restructuring and recovery experience
• Experience of operating with a significant lending discretion
• Proven ability to assess credit decisions, strategy and customer approach
• Strong knowledge and understanding of execution of security
• Qualified Financial Adviser
